In July, Kyra attended an Outdoor Youth Adventure camp at BYU-Idaho. They trekked the group off to Badger Creek Camp and had a fun-filled week full of activities to build their faith, courage, and self-confidence. (Like Kyra REALLY needed any of that :) Besides what is shown on the pictures, she did a small handcart trek with a very difficult women's pull, whitewater rafted, rappelled and rode horses. YES, these really are pictures of her high up in the air. I guess she's no longer afraid of heights :P
I am a mother of four children, 4 in-laws who I love as my own and grandmother to 6. I am also very happily divorced. I currently work full time after 20+ years of being a stay-at-home mom, and I'm slowly chipping away at my bachelor's degree at BYU. I am an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints -- "Saints" in this context means follower or disciple. In my spare time, which is little, I enjoy reading historical fiction (or listening to it), writing, watching quality movies, playing around in Photoshop Elements, game nights with my family, and my all-time favorite TRAVELING and exploring new places and revisiting old places.

This is even better than EFY. What a great camp. I'm glad she had this opportunity to make memories.
