Her carpool buddy asked if she was excited for the evening. Kyra looked at her quizzically, and asked, "Our voice lesson?" "No," her friend said, "our voice recital!" Unbeknownst to us, her voice teacher changed the date of her voice recital, and also gave the voice class a 2 hour lesson while we were gone visiting family in Washington state. But Kyra persevered and did the best she could. She did not sing the song she had been preparing for the concert, but took one she had been working on previously. That's my girl, Kyra! We are so proud of you.
